Topic: Property next to Gail Borden Library

Does anyone have the inside scoop on the property next to Gail Borden on the River Front?  This property runs along Grove Ave - between McBride and Lincoln Streets for 5 blocks.

I've heard past rumors of simple family homes there, businesses with condos and a few other strange things.  Any insight to the 2008 - 2009 forcast is greatly appreciated.

I don't think they ever got to the proposal stage for that plot. But the state of the market is such that all downtown development has been shelved. We will be lucky if they build the other half of the Fountain Square condo.
