    Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Mannix Martinez and DJ El Prieto at the Highlands Music Lounge in Elgin! The night will begin with salsa dance lessons by Danery Barraza from 8-9pm followed by internationally reknown artist, formally of Sonora Poncena and La Terifica, Mannix Martinez and his Orchestra from 9-10. Following the first set of the band will be DJ El Prieto of 4 Fantastic Events, a local staple in the Chicago club scene for the few who don’t know who he is, from 10-11pm. From 11-12am, Mannix Martinez performs his last set followed by DJ El Prieto til close. There will be lots of drink specials and lots of mingling! ONLY A $5 COVER, CINCO FOR CINCO! Lots of free parking, a huge outdoor patio area and a patio area for smoking as well. No need to leave the club!     I’m going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at a carnival in downtown Elgin! There I will see the new BATT police vehicle and the gang unit in action for the first time breaking up fights and taking away weapons….. Guaranteed !!!!
