Did Roadhouse close or get shut down? I drove past on Thursday evening around 6:00 and it looked closed. No cars parked out on the street and the open sign was not on, nor were and of the beer signs. Same thing Friday around 4:30. Seems odd since there was an event at Festival Park Thursday night, and usually when I drive past there is some activity there. I haven’t been by since to see if they are open.
We (Friends of Lords Park Zoo) were working the concessions for Movie in the Park on 07/01 and the gist from the DNA and City folks there was Main Event had a Gas Leak and was closed until the owners resolved the issue.
Roadhouse is now officially closed.

I can’t say I’m upset. I tried the food several times and it was always mediocre at best, and service was terrible.
I wonder if that brewing equipment is in storage somewhere!

I’ve heard through the grapevine the Wing mansion is now on the market for $700-$800K.
Rather than the city spend $675K on W. Chicago St. ROPE officer shack,
buy the Wing mansion! Put 3 or 4 cops in there, supply with with a weekly keg of beer and call it the thin blue line tulip party house.
