There is a large difference, as most law-abiding citizens know. I cannot imagine Bailey or any other law-abiding citizen being against people coming to this country legally to prosper and contribute to our country. I most certainly CAN imagine him being against people illegally entering our country, as most law-abiding citizens should. Are you sure he wrote against immigrants or against ILLEGAL immigrants? There is a large difference, as most law-abiding citizens know. I hope he returns as a strong Elgin voice for progressive American values sustaining a prosperous community of safe neighborhoods, well-maintained homes, honest government, healthy independent families, and middle-class jobs supporting good schools and a flourishing and diverse retail economy. No wonder Mr. Gil Feliciano is concerned. I see the site will be up today, “Sometime before the sun sets.”

I certainly welcome Mr. Bailey’s return to the public forum.

Take note of that. I know he knows how to comment on issues without calling people obscene and vulgar names, too. Even though he will not be bound by the same rules for public decency as he was with a newspaper, I cannot imagine him slipping to the level of a small, 6th grade child that no one will play with on the playground who yells out obscene language just to get attention.
