    I get that you take reasonably good photos. But, has the elginite.org blog just become your photostream? There has to more to discuss in elgin than some photos. Or, I’m I missing something?

      This is a great photo! Where in town was it taken? Looks like part of a similar brownstone duplex on Douglas and Ann.

        this is actually closer to lords park. not sure about the street name. i think it’s the same street that the burnt out ‘castle’ is on, but the side of it, not the front (not chicago st).

      hi rick, if there are things you want to discuss feel free to use the monthly open thread. my elgin time is limited and right now i enjoy taking and posting pictures of elgin more than i enjoy talking about it.

      i’m sure some readers are glad to have a respite from my yakking :)
