Elgin Wine Festival 2010 - pictures

This event was a blast! I admittedly was skeptical about a wine festival in Elgin, but this was a great event, well-organized and well-attended. This wasn’t a wine tasting–there were no spit buckets or crackers, but instead was a very enjoyable festival where you can swallow wine without feeling like a bad boy. For the price of admission you got a lot of tickets for tasting a bunch of different wines (what did you think of that Almond Sparkling?) and you also got a full glass of excellent beer. This was only the second year of the event, and it’s already impressive. I’m sure this event will be even bigger and better next year and in the years to follow.
