In the past couple of weeks in particular I noticed a pattern of comments left by a few members of this forum which were primarily personal attacks against one or more other members of this forum. This is a reminder to everyone to refrain from gratuitous remarks, sarcasm or ridicule directed at people who are just trying to discuss things on this site. If you engage in this sort of behavior, your comments will go into moderation, and I don’t plan on moderating comments often, which means if they pass moderation, it will be a long time before they ever appear on the site.
Thankfully, this only affects a few people. You will know who you are. If you post comments and it doesn’t appear immediately, welcome to the purgatorium.

The headline to this post made me think you would be alerting us to an exhibit on Roman dining habits or a new weight-loss center in Elgin.
