Try it out sometime. The orange cranberry is good, and the one with cranberry is good too. I guess they’re all pretty good.

What does it mean when it says handcrafted?
It means made by hand.
And to think…this guy wanted to be mayor of an American city…
I got home from work and had time to call Caribou and ask what handcrafted oatmeal means and it means you can have your oatmeal made to order or another way of describing it is you can customize it.
On their web site it talks about being able to customize it.
Boy, between pestering Chicago Cubs management and calling Caribou I wish I had that kind of time on my hands.
yep, that’s what happens after retirement. probably why most americans spend years looking forward to it.
I am able to do both pester Cubs management and call Caribou while still working 40 hours a week. I hope I live long enough to enjoy my retirement and I hope there is still social security for me in 10 years when I will be 67.
Evidently Starbucks isn’t content to let Caribou seal up the coffeehouse oatmeal market. In my mail I found a card from them for one free “perfect oatmeal.” I don’t have the time to pursue with Starbucks the exact meaning of “perfect” in this context, but it obviously trumps mere “handcrafted.”
i don’t know. ‘handcrafted’ sort of sounds homely and wholesome, while ‘perfect’ isn’t so evocative. in general i like the atmosphere at caribou more than starbucks. and the caribou in elgin is probably the best in the region. of the half dozen or so (maybe more) caribou coffees that i have visited in chicagoland, the one in elgin just has the best layout and ambience, and their hours are great. i just wish they had lemon.
