    In a letter sent to Steven Rattner, head of the task force, the lawmakers questioned whether closing these dealerships — which they said could put about 150,000 people out of work — would even have the desired effect, given that much of the automakers’ revenue comes from dealers purchasing the vehicles they manufacture.

    As everything is becoming state-owned enteprises under the Democratic administration, be prepared for a lot more meddling by politicians.
