Why do people think that having a gun is the answer! I grew up in a hunting and trap shooting family. We have a lot of guns! We didn’t have guns to protect our house. We had knowledge and common sense for that. I am all for the right to bear arms, but to shoot and ask questions later like one commenter said, is ludicrous. First of all if you shoot someone in your home and they are able to escape, you get sued and the state backs the criminal now victim. If you shoot at an invader, miss, and the bullet goes out the window and hits a passerby, you’re no better than gang drive by shooters! Most people that own a gun for protection don’t have the knowledge of safety and control when needing to use it! It’s just sad to see how many people think that guns are the answer and don’t look at the statistics caused by them. Such as a child shooting a friend, brother or themselves because of dad’s so called toy gun!
