With votes counted in all but one Cook County precinct, the Elgin City Council election results are as follows:
Richard G. Dunne - 3205 votes
Robert Gilliam - 3017
John Prigge - 2942
John N. Walters - 2805
Juan Figueroa - 2606

A tip of the hat and a big congratulations to all the winners. Although not all my candidates for city council won (Besides only voting for Rich Dunne for the four year race I voted for Emi Morales for the two year race) I am thankful that we all had the opportunity to exercise our right to vote and our right to freedom of speech in this great country or ours.
I hope and pray that God will continue to pour out his blessings on our country.
Looks like Walters is in for now — Do we know when all absentee votes are certified?

Hi RS and Jessica, can you please reach out to me tomorrow or when you check in, I would like to open a new thread. It appears as if I made election history on election night without being aware of it at the time, and I would like to post what my thoughts were surrounding the 3 days during the election. Also what ideas I have for the residents as we all watch how votes will be cast on certain issues and what I may or may not do with the data. Thanks Mike R. 847-280-1958. Anyone else wishing to call, if the phone is off, leave your number!
Hi Mike,
You can email me your message and I will post it. Thanks.
Hi RS, what is your email, I will also log it for future ref.
