Residents of Gotham, our city is in peril due to illegals. It burdens our school system, hospitals, neighborhoods with over crowding, and ruins the reputation of Elgin with many suburbs around us, don’t let the mayor fool us, all is not well and upcoming. Do we need to focus on jobs and more business, our city budget for the future, our schools and taxes, sure we do! However, illegals are chocking Gotham.
I was at the ELGIN REPUBLICANS tonight watching and listening to the candidates for city council. Mike Warren repeated the exact same material he said at the forums about his jobs and businesses with his family. Emi went into the same diatribe of financial transparency and having again more forums on every matter. Rodgers went into where she and her daughter went to school and that supposedly everyone wants her back! Mike Robins was the only one to address our illegals and I liked that he said we don’t need to just rely on ice or the police for the fix all, that he can manage, not fix the problem internaly within our city. He illustrated examples from the new code, landlords, and some other facts he said were on his website. No other candidate even got close or brought it up. After the meeting, some of Warrens own were talking in the hall and I heard one older man mention he new Warren for many years and that he was not that bright, and would do what schock wanted him to, that suprised me that some of his own would talk about him at this gathering.
Gotham is slowly slipping away from us, I know we can get it back!
