Wine comes to downtown Elgin

Red Bar Winery may be coming to downtown Elgin. The city council approved it Wednesday night.

Not a lot of people at last night’s meeting. That goes not just for the audience, but for the council itself. Councilmen Robert Gilliam, John Steffen and John Walters were absent.
