After watching Europe and Asia pull ahead for so many years, putting up one stunning building after another, it was such a relief when plans for the Chicago Spire were announced. I think this Calatrava building will ensure for decades that Chicago’s skyline remains the most distinctive, recognizable and beautiful in America, perhaps the world.
